Peanuts Christmas Coffee Mug

Peanuts and the gang, which includes Charlie Brown and Snoopy, seem to have an enduring popularlity so I was pleased to discover this wonderful Home For The Holidays coffee mug by Vandor.

Home For The Holidays features Charlie Brown on one side and Snoopy on the other, and a nice little Christmas tree (unlike the sad little one that Charlie Brown and Linus pick out from the tree lot.)

It would be fun to use this mug throughout the month of December, declaring your love for poor old Charlie Brown.

It would also make a wonderful Christmas gift idea for anyone who loves Peanuts or who loves the pleasures of home at Christmas.

TY Christmas Mice Beanie Babies

Sometimes those TY Beanie Babies are just too darn cute.  Don't you just love Stirring, this little grey mouse who holds in his hands a delicious gingerbread cookie?

I just discovered a world of mice, TY Christmas mice, that is.

What's extra nice about Ty Beanie Babies is that they are ultra affordable when priced regularly and downright cheap when on sale at Amazon (as they are right now.)

Stirring, for instance is half price at just $5.

Flicker, cute as can be with his nightcap and his candle,  is just over $5.

Janglemouse is dressed like Mrs. Claus and priced at under $5.

Garlands may well be my favorite and that's not because he's just $2.90 at Amazon. It is because he's a cute little white mouse bearing a Christmas wreath.

And I do like Tiny Tim, although he's the most expensive of the bunch at $12 and an internet exclusive, but he's darn right cute, too.

Our family tradition includes a small Christmas plush in each of my boy's stockings on Christmas morning.  They have a lovely collection now and these would be a perfect choice for Christmas 2011, for boys who are now well, ah, young men.

Merry Chris-mouse
