When the clock strikes the hour, an elf pops out with a present - and one of 12 available Christmas carols is heard. At nighttime, a light sensor deactivates carols allowing our Elf friend (and you) to catch some sleep.
And at night, the cuckoo is operated by a light sensor, so everybody gets a good night's sleep.
